QOLLASUYU SEPTEMBER GATHERING 2022

SIGNS FROM THE UNIVERSE: "BE the MAGIC!"

SEPTEMBER 9-11, 2022

at THE MOUNTAIN RETREAT and LEARNING CENTER

in Highlands, North Caroliina

In these times of continual stress when everything seems to converge in more mayhem and mischief, we are called to be in community. We need to be with one another. We need to deepen our connections within the natural and unseen worlds by immersing in the encantos that sing us back to Life!

These are the times to gather in ceremony. To be in companioned silence.  To sit within the flow of the constant universal living energy pulsing through the ancient oaks, retained in the moss covered rocks, and soaring with the hawk in the distance.

We need time and space to breathe.

To see, to listen, to smell and taste, to feel

It is time for us to remember to be the Magic!

The Council of the Qollasuyu invites you to join us for the September Gathering:

  • a leisurely weekend of ceremony, workshops
  • being with the trees, communing with the night sky
  • sharing poetry and prose, music and dancing
  • conversation during meals and walks
  • healing sessions
  • vision quest /pacowachu preparation workshop
  • the Saturday night fire circle
  • your own dreamtime and meanderings
Our weekend leaders include Sanctioned Teachers, longtime mesa carriers and invited guests.

We begin with dinner followed by the opening ceremony at 8:30 PM on Friday evening and end with a late lunch on Sunday.

Our minds, as well as our bodies, have need of the out of doors. Our spirits, too, need simple things, elemental things, the sun and the wind and the rain, moonlight and starlight, sunrise and mist and mossy forest rails, the perfumes of dawn and the smell of fresh-turned earth and the ancient music of wind among the trees.  Edwin Way Teale

The Trees Are Speaking

THE QOLLASUYU COUNCIL announces:
The time has come to finally gather with Robin Harman
and engage with the Wisdom of the Ancient Mallki

The Voices of Trees
It begins with but a whisper in the ear, a stirring of the soul, or so it seems. It exists as a call to listening, a listening with ones being, a calling forth of super-sensory perception often laid dormant by adulthood, busy-ness, and human activity.

When will you stop to hear the trees?

Among indigenous people, tree Beings are highly honored emissaries of wisdom and aliveness: The Mallkikuna. Their roots penetrate the soulful ground of our Mother, and their intertwined branches stretch upward to receive Creator’s gift of transformative Light. . . All achieved while exhaling the oxygen needed for our human lungs, and life on this planet. The awe-inspiring presence of trees places them among the most revered expressions of the natural world. Their model of life links Heaven and Earth, and generously sources shelter, food, beauty and provision to all of Pachamama’s children.

Robin Harman has apprenticed since 1993 in the Pachakuti Mesa tradition with don Oscar Miro-Quesada, building upon experience as a meditation therapy facilitator, as well as through in-depth consciousness training with other revered teachers. With degrees in music, religion and the arts, Robin‘s commitment to infusing an essence of Spirit into unwavering Service to Pachamama colors all that she does. A creative sense of play, gratitude, wonder and humor are her watchwords.
